do prices ever drop for the holiday season?

Recommended Posts

looking at flights for my next trip...unfortunately the best time for me to go is after christmas, early january since its the slowest business time for me...

i went this past november and flew eva evergreen deluxe for just under $1000, now the website is showing the same flight at $2300 :bow , am i just looking too far out?...or is that pretty much the rate for holiday times?

I have found economy flight for around $1000 on JAL and ANA since i live in Chicago and they shoot straight to narita from here, but i am 6'4" and am dreading the thought of doing the flight in economy...would rather be in premium economy, cause that eva flight was pretty nice

The airlines are kind of a futures market for airline seat revenue, and right now it looks like fuel prices are on the rise. I think I would wait a while and keep checking and pounce on it when it hits the $1500-$1600 range. I would guess in the July-August time frame. Good Luck. :bow

The do drop. It happens on the day AFTER you buy your ticket.
