Seems as though Thailand has blocked youtube access according to the BBC

For those of you in Thailand requiring youtube, I suggest using the following service:

It's the same principle. As long as you're going through a proxy that sits outside of Thailand, you should have no problems accessing youtube. Have any of you guys tried accessing youtube directly? Is it blocked like the BBC report suggests?

Yes. direct access from JI net is blocked - I tried the Cloak route and it works a treat - useful for some porn sites the authorities have taken a dislike too.

Still seems to be blocked if you're using TOT, thohgh I know someone who uses TT&T, who was able to access it. I have AOL and i can access it through them.

On the subject of the cloak. Is there another proxy route you could take to fool some uk-based radio stations into thinking i,m in the uk. Many block their stream if they know you have a non-uk ip address.

 

Streaming TV is the next big thing on the net and it will hit some of the problems that net radio has just now.

ok you need to give them £25 every month but their service is ace. Their line-up even includes sky 1 as well as the regular uk channels. The delay stream is also useful in LOS time difference.
