problem seeing pictures

when it comes to computers, it is easy for me to get lost. I have been researching various topics gaining some much needed information prior to my trip this summer. Some pictures i can see and some shows nothing. Is there anything i can do to correct this. Any help would be apreciated.

Need more detail. What type of computer (Windows XP? Apple?). When CAN you see pictures, when can't you? Can you see all the snaps you took, but not on the Internet? Or what?

I have the same problem. I can open some posts and see the photos; others I see squares with a red x

Some require ActiveX to be resident.

If you are looking at older posts then the pics may have been removed by the poster. Pics posted using the Pattaya Talk server remain but often the pics are posted on another pic hosting server and then later the account is closed or lapses and the pics can no longer be seen.

Thanks for the replies. My computer runs windows xp. some post i can see pictures, others i can not, just a red square with a red x. Most of the bar crawl photos i can not see anymore. any one got any idea's on what could be causing this.

And you've got the Norton "security" I bet.

 

Well. Try this first:

(Scroll down to red-x. There are a LOT of steps, many of which are generic. Try them all, one by one. This is excellent advide, at this page.)

 

Frankly the red-x problem is sometimes not solvabe unless you change browsers. Firefox is a wonderful browser, free, well supported and the geeks love it.

i have the same problem,i use web tv,i usually can see the 1st few picks but if there are alot of them, the buttom ones i can't see. sometimes hitting the refesh button works,most times it don.t

Web TV! Wow. I presume you like your girls with beehive hairdos? Fins on your cars? I really didn't know they still had Web TV. I'm so old I can remember it, though.

 

Do you have a mouse? If you can right click on a picture you can't see (heh) and choose refresh, that will probably load that particular picture.

yah buddy they still have web tv,,now they have web tv plus too,it's no the greatest but it does the job,some good points about web tv is that your screen is as big as your tv ,i can lay back on my bed and work it with my cordless remote,and i don't have to worry about catching a virus,plus it's cheap, oh,i like my women shaved by the way
