I usually bring any bits and pieces I need back on the airplane with me,..but if I wanted to bring a larger item back from Thailand what is the cheapest way of doing this?...I'm thinking of catering equipment for instance as the savings are immense compared to U.K....Anyone done this?

Does anyone know a name of a reliable company, where actually do I start,....of course I could ask the catering manufacturer but a smaller less expensive catering equip manufacturer don't do this.

The cheapest way to send large items is by cargo container. Ask at any pattaya office and they will give you the details.

Have you checked customs fees for the equipment you want to import? Where was it Manufactured?

Either way....If you can't carry it through customs then I'd say you should look at shipping via sea..I won't comment further. Oh, I will...if it is a Thai product then check with the factory.

Normally, a Thai company producing stuff knows how to get the stuff to other countries. By all means ask the sellers and the makers of the items you're selling. USUALLY this gets you the best rates, too.
