I love a curry and I hope they are still going when we are there for a month just after Xmas as we live not too far from your place.

 

I went past your bar every day for a month earlier in the year but for some reason I was of the understanding that your place was just a short time bar and it was a little bit too close to home for me to be sticking my dick into your girls.

 

I will definitely be visiting on our next trip and I hope you still have some of your DVD's for sale.

My bar is far from being a short time bar, it's more a drinking (local) bar with girls here to get your drinks and if you take a fancy to one of them 'up too you'. We have loads of couples that come here to socialise, so no need for you to be a stranger.

 

I also hope the curry nights will still be on!!

 

The DVD's will always be available.

Okay guys, how was last nights munch fest?

 

For me, it was my best one yet <grin Chef's Vindaloo was not as hot as what many people may have expected and I think this was well accepted in the main, there were a few people that really wanted an ass burner and Chef 'again' didn't do the bowl of chopped chillies, so a few people didn't get exactly what was wanted (will he ever get it all right on the night)?

 

However, this curry was hot for sure and had a wee tear for a few of us weaklings who cannot take the heat, the taste though was awesome, it had so much flavour and Chef had cooked the huge pieces of beef so well that you could cut them with your spoon!!! His naan breads are coming on and next week I think he'll have them spot on...watch this space.

 

So what's for next week I hear you ask, simple, it's down to you...Look out for a new poll which gives you guys the choice for what us curry lovers have next Tuesday!

It happened again last night...A complete sell out!

 

Firstly, a big thanks to everyone that showed their face, it was a good turn out and a great night too boot!

 

So, what was on the Menu...Ahh yes, Chicken Jalfrezi, Pilau rice, Naan, Popadom and a beer...Don't remember the curry as I had some of mine at 1am when I was completely pissed and decided to spend the rest of my night talking to the big white telephone (nothing to do with the food i hasten to add).

 

Most curry munchers commented that it was HOT, HOTTER than last weeks Vindaloo and on this prognosis I had to find out why? It was simple...Chef had decided to whack a bunch of finely chopped chillies at the end of his cooking process (something he normally doesn't do) and this ended in the curry being a fiery fucker, naughty Chef! Anyway, I may give my own verdict once I have had mine for lunch today.

 

Next week?

 

I personally would love a Dhansak next week. Last time Chef made this I was in heaven, such great flavours and very different to the main curries.

 

So, Chef, what's it gonna be?

 

Please fellow munchers, place your name in this thread if you want some fodder...Last night most people were lucky and got fed, though there were a few that went home hungry!

Yes, I thought it was 'as hot' as last weeks Vindaloo. It reached '1 tear' on my temperature scale

 

If I can make one, minor, minor, critism though ......... the rice ..... well, it was a bit 'moist' for me. I leave mine a little longer in the steamer.

 

I was going to mention it to craig, but like you I was pretty wrecked when finishing and completely forgot.

CURRY MUNCHERS for 4th Sept.

 

CHICKEN DHANSAK

If you have not had one of Chef's curries or you're tempted to try curry for the first time, this would be a cracker to start off with.

It's a sweet/sour tasting curry with a light chilli kick that is bulked up with lentils, vegetable puree and loads of chicken.

Fook, this week has been a cracker...Tuesday at nois was Dhansak and Thursday at The Rockhouse was Beef Rogan Josh...I'm serious when I say they were both fookin' fantastic...Tuesdays was sweet with a hint of chilli and last nights was full of a tangy flavour with a mouth warming chilli bite. Great Stuff Chef.!

 

So this Tuseday at Noi's...What's it gonna be?

 

It's one that's not been done before, it's being made with plump, juicy bought fresh on the day prawns...This was actually recommended by a board member and sounds to nice to be true...

 

Prawn Goan Curry: This is a coconut based curry made with red chillies that are certain to hit the HOT spot and for 200 baht for rice, popadom, naan bread and a beer is great value too!!!

 

Anyone not on the list wants on or anyone on that wants off...Just drop it in this thread.

Well curry munchers, it's Sunday afternoon and most will be sat around either with belly full of Roast dinner, ale or both!

 

So a good time to remind you of what's in store on Curry night at Noi's on Tuesday.

 

CHICKEN MADRAS

 

Yep the favorite of many a muncher is on the Chef's to do list...!

 

The good news is that there will be a double helping of popadoms as Chef is shite at baking Naan's <huh After all, he is a Curry maker and not a baker!
