Went into the Kitten club and was plesently surprised to see they have a jacuzi in the back now. After ordering a coke (it came in a 10oz. bottle), I settled in to watch the lovely kittens play in the tank. The coke arrived and the bill did not have a price on it. After one round of kittens, the second two arrived just as another customer sat down in the front row. He then proceeded to undress and enter the tub while I quickly moved far away. Not sure why this bar would encourgae this since I for one have no desire to watch some drunk in the tub. I asked for a bill and found my 10oz. coke was 125 baht. I hate to think what I would have been charged for a beer. No wonder they do not list prices on the tab.

This is one of the few bars on my never again list. I went in 2 years ago and ordered a vodka and coke. The drink arrived and out of habit, I looked at the tab and as above, no price on it. The waitress saw me do this and picked up a price list but said fuck all. Fortunately, I only had one drink as when I got the bill it was 155 baht (I hate to think what it will be 2 years on).

 

From replies to my comments on various boards I got the impression that they are well known for this sort of thing.

Like I said, drunk toursits undressing is where I leave. Maybe in a group of friends this would be acceptable.

I would guess he paid through the nose and never even noticed.

Yep, been done this way for a few years now. I guess they are doing OK with their ripoff policy as they sure as hell haven't changed it, and won't until they have no customers. Then, who knows, maybe not even then as TIT.

 

I haven't been in KIttens in at least 3-years and won't ever go back.

I hope they haven't raised their price on their limo pickup service at the airport. A few years ago it was a bargain at only 12,000 baht.

Yep been there and done that (not the limo service) never going in that bar again. The drinks are way way too expensive and you do not get the bill till the end, then you find out you have been ripped off.

The place is like something out of the twilight zone. Last time I was there I think the total customers numbered two. Me and my friend.

 

The music was BLASTING and the manager (owner?) was running around like a madman singing/screaming into a cordless microphone.

Used to be one of the best IMFVHO.One Night In Bangkok by Murray Head played on the hour every hour with a LBFM up on your table.Free Schnaps,ok it was not the best but it was free.The little fat Thai Manager was a real charachter,always busy doing fuck all.Good buffett on party nights and some of the sexiest outfits and girls in Pattayaland.

When I first visited Pattaya years ago, I enjoyed this gogo. The female manager/mamasan was a great looker and enjoyed my nights with several stunners that are barfined including a showgirl that cost me 1000 baht barfine.

 

Needless to say, the place has gone to the dogs, with stories of padded bins, and outrageous prices on drinks. Would I pay another 1000 baht barfine, I think not.

I've had many a great time here over the years, including a couple of great nights this year, but as everybody has said, it has gone downhill, shame really as it was one of my favourites.
