Yes Thailand has a student visa, roughly as described. It is meant for children and people studying religion, i.e. living with the monks. (The government's Buddhist department is under the education ministry.)

 

I would be very careful dealing with this organisation. Maybe they can do what they say, but in my experience Immigration is very careful about who they give student visas to, and it has never been an option for mongers.

 

Caveat emptor here, heavy on the caveat.

Usually thoses organization which can that type of visa are the schools too.

 

In Bangkok Thai Walen school does this with a one year course of Thai languagews for 29500 bht.

However, you have to pay on top for non imm ED appication at foreign consulate + extension every 3 months which cost 2000 bht each time....
