Cathay Pacific All-Asia Pass

Recommended Posts

A long time ago I looked at this deal. Back then, you had to formalize your itinerary at the time you bought your tickets, and all flights seemed to require a return to Hong Kong. All things considered, it seemed rather complicated. I liked to keep my options open.

that program has gotten worse, it used to be over 10 cities in 17 days for that price. The downside is/was that all flights had to go through HK and back for each city.

I used that on my first trip to SE asia in Oct 2003. the SARS stuff was just over and CX had a discount for the All-asia pass for $699.

They used to allow more cities within the 21 day period also instead of just two for the base price, and now they've got a $300 surcharge to cities in China.

I can't figure that one out.
