Sandyspring vs Areca lodge vs Pasadena lodge

Recommended Posts

I have about 10 days coming up in pattaya in late August. I have only stayed in Sandy springs 5 or 6 times, and I like it because of it being comfortable, good water pressure in bathroom and close to beach and shopping malls and also quiet at night.

This time I am thinking of a different hotel with comparable comfort and slightly cheaper price. Has any one stayed in the above hotel and can give me pros and cons?

No knowledge of Passadena, but the Sandy Spring wins on all of your key points. Areca is cheaper, but rooms are significantly smaller (maybe half size) and beds in the Areca are much smaller. Staff attitudes at Areca can be questionable (ie they are not sure whether to go for the family market or not).

Pasadena has small rooms and no pool! Nicely furnished but IMO very overpriced!

Steve, I think they have 3 room sizes. They lower their prices in April for the low season so they may be more competitive now.

Totally agree with Fatboyfat's post having stayed at both.
