welcome plaza hotel

Can anyone advise me if the welcome plaza hotel is "girl friendly" ? i was thinking of staying there next year ,as me old favorite the "nova lodge" look's like getting bulldozed ! ive read a few review's ! but no one has mentioned about being "girl friendly" ! any help about this hotel would be a great help !....cheer's lawsy.

Welcome Plaza like others hotel is girl friendly if you book a double room, if not they ask 300 bahts.

Welcome plaza open about 20 years ago and for stay also at the 2 neighbours, Royal Palace and Royal Twins, Welcome is the best of the 3 with great location, of course is more urban hotel like a resort with garden but for the price it's one of the best deal in town.

You seem to know the place well piero? as i said i allway's have stayed at the nova lodge . as it is closing down , ive checked out a few places and the welcome plaza look's ok for the price ?[ 750thb per night , with breakfast booking through agoda] is it true about cockroach's ? a few people reckon it's infested ! a can of spray will fix the problem !

This is one of my favorite places to stay. Great location, big pool, and yes girl friendly. It is funny how I have seen people say that there were "joiner fees" there. I have stayed 12 times over 8 years, with no problems. But the posters wouldn't have mentioned them if they did not have a basis for it.

 

If I were staying there and they tried to pull that(charge extra for a girl in the room) on me I would argue that I had stayed many times before and not had any joiner fee. If they did not drop it, I would be out of there the next day. Let your feet and wallet do the talking.

 

Luckily I have never had to do this, as the Welcome Plaza has accepted every girl I brought back at no charge. They do check/take the ID of the TG( which is a good thing). I have never tried to take more than one TG per night, however.

 

I have never seen any roaches, but the rooms are older and the bathrooms are worn.

 

Granted I have not stayed there in the past 1.5 years, as their prices have gone up. So I am trying out some new places recently. But I would easily return to the WP, as I have always enjoyed my stays there.

Cheer's mate ! thank's for the info . you seem to know the place very well ? sound's good too me ! as long it's girl friendly and has a good pool, that suit's me fine ! thank you very much.
