Air Aisa 99 baht++ fares-int'l & 9 baht++ fares-domestic

Recommended Posts

Have a visa run coming soon? You may want to consider a trip to PP or elsewhere for just over 3k baht, all in.

The ++ is for tax and surcharges-still very reasonable.

Book between 13-27 Oct and fly between 9Feb-31Jul

Just a pity that Air Asia don't fly to Siem Reap as I would like to visit Angkor Wat maybe in Febraury next year. Bangkok Air's prices are somewhat on the high side.

Anyone know any cheaper flights from Bangkok to Siem Reap?

Alan, since you live in LOS and I know from your posts you like to travel around you might want to consider a Discovery Airpass on Bangkok Air. It would cost you $100/coupon to and from Siem Reap but other coupons are cheaper. You need to buy 4 at a time but over a year you could plan one or two other trips in the Bangkok Air network. It might be worth looking at the options on their website.

I used the passes earlier this year for Bangkok-Siem Reap and Bangkok-Luang Prabang and thought it was a good deal. Also join their FF plan and with the signing bonus and 4 flights you'll be about one flight away from a free domestic flight.

Make sure you use a PC on their website. Their features don't work on a Mac.

Not sure where you get your information..... You have to purchase a minimum of three coupons. The Airpass coupons have a validity of two months.

So, no planning 'over a year' as you put it.....unless changed their T&Cs recently.

I am using Discovery airpasses again next month.

yes they do have to be purchased out of Thailand but if you have a foreign passport and credit card and book it over the net, booking shouldnt be a problem. I booked Discovery passes for my ex TGF and she lives in Phuket and it wasnt an issue.

Bkk Air have the Bkk to Siem Reap route locked up at the moment.

I read somewhere that other airlines want to get in.

Air asia run some great specials. Always when i am out of the country.

A trip to PP at that price is definately worth while. You can then take a bus or boat trip up to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat).

Just remember Cambodia uses $US which is going to kill me this trip.

Maybe you can indicate quite where we can book the Discovery Airpass online with a foreign credit card.
