new pattaya restaurant

hi all, just returned home again from the fun city of pattaya thailand. i think my 15th trip there. i had lunch with a friend at a new place called the lighthouse. its between soi 7 and soi 8 on second road. all new and very clean with a/c. i had the american breakfast, crisp bacon, toast, hashbrowns, eggs, and soft butter,not the stuff that rips your toast apart. also comes with good coffee and real orange juice. one of the other guys had the hamburger, he said it was the best one he ever had in pattaya. lots of good looking other stuff on the menu. the american owner stopped by our table to make sure we enjoyed our meals. i think his name was daniel, nice guy. i give the place a big thumbs up !

Are you the owner or a friend of the owner? Just looks odd that your first post, after 15 visits, relates to a new restaurant.

I've eaten dinner there a few times and the food was good and the prices reasonable. FWIW nice group of American's meet there around 5-6PM.

Yes but not all of them. But then they're not all American.

 

It's a perfectly decent place, the Lighthouse. I wouldn't rate it a "must" but it's definitely not a "miss". Pleasant, clean and pretty dependable.

fathermojo, i hear you might know the owners from lighthouse, john from the tequila reef and daniel from fattys. good chance you will know many of the guys in there
