iv been searching the forum for hotels in jomtien but cant find any up to date reviews. could anyone recomend a hotel with pool in jomtien for around a 1000 a day?

I know this is higher than 1000, but I will recommend anyway. The Residence Garden has two pools and very nice grounds. 1400/night for a one bedroom apartment.

Yea, but it's about 5 minute baht bus ride over the hill and around the corner to the border.

btw, I have stayed at the RGI and found their mattresses to be very hard, thin and uncomfortable. The room is big with separate bedroom but I would not stay there again.

Try Silver Sand Villa (www.silversandvilla.com). Conveniently located near to soi 7 on Beach Road. You should be able to get a room there for just under 1000 a night especially in the older blocks. 2 big swimming pools. Friends of mine have stayed there recently and liked it. I used to use it three to four years ago before relocating here.

Easy one there. Golden Villa Apartments. Its right on the main stretch of road, halfway in between Jomtien, and Pattaya. They have a pool, blackout curtains, all newly furnished rooms. They were renting for 10k baht a month last I had heard. I know they also own another piece of property across the street, slightly larger and newer rooms with internet, although I am unsure of the price on those.
