If you are hoping to share a taxi, there is a section specifically for that.

Meeting - cost sharing

If you want to book a taxi, search out, Mr T, Mr Toom or Dream Transport.

Public taxis are avaialble at the stand, about 1500 baht to Pattaya.

Or take the escalator down to the level below arrivals, find gate 8 down there. I got a taxi for 1000 baht (incl tolls) from there.

thanks for the info.....suppose will get used to other forums but have really only used the Members Forum to date.....have tried Mr T before as posted but got a "no show"....usually manage to negotiate on the arrivals level 1,200 inc' tollway then give 200 tip to the driver....but the uncertainty of no specific booking is a bit of a drag and I would much prefer to have a pre-booking arranged (as long as the driver turns up on time without my having to look for him)

Yes, echoing jacko - but hoping that transportation folks will troll through thousands of topics on a dozen boards looking for a possible current customer is not the right approach. You have to look for them - far better chance of success.

jacko's three are the top three mentioned on this board, and they all have good reviews, some exceptions such as your own. Dream Transport is a PM away.
