Anyone every use the four-star or five-star Beach Road options on Latestays? If so, what hotel did you end up with?

Anyone every use the four-star or five-star Beach Road options on Latestays? If so, what hotel did you end up with?

 

You can whittle down the options by comparing the individual hotel facilities against those listed for the "mystery" properties. I had a look at the Bangkok Sukhumvit 5* options a couple of weeks back and the facilities matched exactly with the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit. I couldn't find an exact match for the 4* property, so maybe they have a couple to choose from.

Are you thinking the 5 Star one is the Marriot? I only ask cause it quotes direct access to the beach and I am sure Marriot doesn't have this?

Five star is the Dusit Thani. Four star is Siam Bayshore Resort.

The Bayshore is listed as a South Pattaya hotel, not a Beach Road hotel. Possibly the Bayview?

Some mystery hotels are not guest friendly and charge joiner fee.

I did order the 4 stars hotel on beach road at Wotif 1450 B a night, and was getting

Sunbeam hotel in soi 8 close to 2 road, okey hotel but only stayed for 2 nights

, no guest charge.

The Marriott is listed as a 2nd Rd property.

 

Just trawling through the facilities and room/hotel descriptions it would appear likely that the 5* is the Dusit and the 4* is the Bayview.

Hi Ya,

 

I read the blurbon the site as saying the hotel had direct access to 'The Beach' rather than direct access to 'Beach Road'. Couldn't work out how they would have it as beach road is in between the Marriot and The Beach... Still I was completely wrong with the hotel anyway as Evil came to the rescue with much more likely answers.
