Yes its true the old enemy stole the ashes from the aussies last year in the cricket. They probably beat us in the rugby as well, not that half the Australian population would care - AFL is the real football code down under. But it's great to see our country.... with precious little water, let alone snow have now got 2 gold medals in Canada to the poms solitary 1.

 

With all the snow that fell in the old dart around xmas and the new year the English should have been well prepared, while our guys where working on their suntans at the beach.

 

Go you Aussies!

Wells brewery had a poster advertising a new ale. Not sure what market it was aiming at but the slogan was;

Yes well done the Aussies.........

 

Mind you I've skied in Australia more than once.............Never skied in Britain though. Most of our water is either the runny kind or ice (as in Scotland)

 

So not as incredible as you make out.

 

But............. I admit I fear the worst whenever we take you lot on in anything. Even the two creatures on your national emblem cannot take a backward step!!

There is no 'Surprise a Sheep' competition at these Olympics! Anyway, it's near impossible to set a good time in the Luge with a ewe on your lap.
