Looking for a good gaff ....but maybe bringing daughter and niece and nephew......

 

So mainly good cheapish guesthouses.....up to 1000 a night per room (obviously might need 2 or 3 rooms)......

they are good cheap hotels, food is good and staff friendly, with Eastiny 7 you run the gaunlet with the ladyboys coming back at night but perfect for a great meal at the pig and whistle

Eastiny 7 with rooms overlooking soi 7 are extremely noisy late into the night, even high up.

Yes too true ! very noisy especially overlooking the pool, the bass from the bar opposite carried on till around 4 AM, my mate codhead was was in the room facing the other road and their room was much better !

I don't know where to suggest around Soi 7 or 8 but what about the idea of this place, if not the actual place itself. Much better rates available on places like ratestogo and wotif etc. and sometimes direct but quite a nice place in reality.

Seeker, some of us have been to Thailand many times...40+ times....... and are married to Thais...... bringing the daughter and nephew as a present for her hard work as she is home for 2 months from her private school in Ubon Ratchathani.

 

She wants to go to the beach for a trip..!!!!!........The only water round there is the Moon River or The Mekhong River.....and I wouldn't put you in there....let alone her..!!!!
