On my last trip I dropped my camera on the floor. It still takes pictures, but takes awhile between shots, but the rest of the functions don't work. I have heard there is a shop in Tukcom that could fix some problems and are fairly reasonable. Anybody have experience?

Unless the camera is worth good money then don't bother . I took one to tuk com for big leg . After a week or so they just said that it would be cheaper just to buy a new one . Parts for cameras are expensive .

By the sound of it, it looks like it doesn't want to focus that fast any more due to friction caused by the drop.

Anyway, there are also some handy fuckers at the markets who fix things for next to nothing.

Once had a wrist strap fixed from a watch, and the guy asked 20 bt, so I gave him 50, but he didn't accept it.

Goes to show they're not all greedy cunts. :D

IMO a very decent small camera can be bought for 3.300 baht or so. These cameras are becoming better all the time, so unless yours is new I would just buy another one.
