So, just 7 days. That's pretty speedy...especially compared to the 25 days or so it took my small parcel.

^ Yeah, that is exactly my prior experience as well. USPS International Express was almost always exactly one calendar week.

 

 

@ Jacko. When you track on the USPS site, it stops at at outbound customs. If you look on Thai Post and track there, you can see when it enters the country and leaves BKK Customs. Have only had about 50% success with this, sometimes the package is delivered before the Thai site is updated.

Mine was a little box, 6x6x6 inch, but to be honest that was silly as the contents could have fit into a gift card envelope.

But when you need something, you need it now, and are prepared to pay 5x it's cost to get it shipped...

Well useful info, I am more familiar with DHL, where their site tracks end-to-end. During the airport closure I tracked a package all over the place as it weaved it's way to me not via Soyouwantaboomboom! Edited August 2, 2010 by jacko

Ordered two things off Amazon on same day recently.

 

1 took 5 days the other 2 weeks.

 

I'm happy with that, oh and no postal/custom charges from the post office.
