Wait thru the commercial and you'll see the highlights. It was an exciting and bizarre first week. Chris Johnson and Arian Foster go off. Michael Vick rose from the ashes. A last second non-catch for the Lions, and a very costly last second penelty for the Boys.

I managed to get a little football in amongst the baseball games, notably the last part of the first half and the last five minutes of the game - Redskins-Dallas. The 'Boys are a severely challenged team. I predict that when Wade Phillips retires, he will have as many Super Bowls as his old man.

The Jets were just fuckin' awful. Dumb penalties, no offense whatsoever. Happy to see the Colts take one up the jaxie!

I just can't get excited about baseball this year. I'll probably get into it once the play-offs start, but right now it's all NFL.
