Mr T Taxi service

Not sure if this is the proper place to post this or not. My apologies if it is wrongly located. I saw the Topic that Mr T posted and listed an e-mail to reserve his services a while back. On my arrival at 7:40am today I saw a young looking gentleman holding my name on a sign. I walked up and we headed out. I didn't think too much about it as Mr T's posts stated his son, who knew English, was usually handling the e-mails. As we drive to Pattaya, I was asking just general stuff and then asked if he was the 'Mr T' or his son. He stated he works for him, helps out. If my memory serves me right, Mr T stated he operates alone. Now I was wondering who this person was. Soon a card is handed to me, P.T. Taxi service. Amazing how it lists a web page when Mr. T didn't have one when he posted on here. Again, I am putting it out there as I can't find Mr T's original posting but want to warn others if this is indeed someone infringing on Mr T again. I used the e-mail listed from his posts here. If this is on the up and up, then by all means, delete this so there isn't mass confusion out there.

BTW, my room at the Residence Garden is great. Can't beat the amenities for the price. Thanks Il for making a special price for forum members. I found my new home for my next trip.

Yes he does contract out work to drivers.

Mr. T has always subbed out work when busy. mr. Toom used to take work from him.

The one good thing about Mr T is that he is very accesible. Unless there has been a recent change his office is next to the Soi Diane/LK intersection. Last time there I just dropped in with the details and no bother. If your staying in the area the advantage of being able to get there quick in an emergency (no pick up etc) is great.

Mr T Taxi service is a booking agent and books with many drivers and different types of vehicles. I use him for airport pickup, golf outings, trips into BKK and just about any place in Thailand. I have booked a van to take my GF and her friends to her village in Udon to make village merit.

 

In six years, I have never had a problem with bookings or his drivers. Very good service.

I disagree. Give us the name or number of any taxi that will meet you at the airport and take you to Pattaya for less than 1000b.

800b is the basic bottom price to go to the airport (no parking required).

I am not sure if PT and Mr T are related. There are services that are always trying to make a dime off someone else's name.
