I have a brother in the States whose room mate put together this site. It is supposed to be for people wanting to watch television that is free in the States over the Internet WHILE in the States. But, I've found that it has a MUCH BETTER application as a source of FREE AMERICAN SPORTS on the Internet while on Holiday IN PATTS!. The quality is pretty good, especially considering the price.

The lineup of sports that are available is GREAT. There are even some US television shows that are available. Each day the link is updated with a complete list of available sports and shows with links to each, so check in daily for your favorites.

I will be there tonight for sure. Watching the Lakers game using the link right now. Gonna go to buy a connector between my Mac and the TV so I can really relax and watch some games. The link is really gonna come in handy for some football games this weekend.

PS I am not impressed with the talent at the GoGos so far. I have been to Airport, Showcase, Lollipop and Sweethearts. Hopefully, I will uncover a gem or two on the Bar Crawl...I did see a real stunner at Showcase, but she was a showgirl and I had no desire to pay an insane bar fine and LT fee.

Unfortunately a good Internet connection is needed. This is Thailand and even decent connections are few and far between especially if you live in the country and not in a major city.

I hope your brother's room mate is lawyered up. The problem is: Almost nothing on the site is free to air. In fact, right off the bat with a quickl look, I can't see anything at all that is free to air.

 

These sites come and then they go, reasonably quickly. There's a heck of a lot of work that went into this site, and it's pretty good while it lasts, too. But that won't be too long. ESPN, Fox News, CNN.... on and on, they aren't free to air. FOR SURE the NFL, the NHL, Serie A, WWE and so on are absolutely not free to air.

 

If you are from the United States and you have service in the US at your home and you are just visiting Pattaya and you absolutely can't do without watching your sensational Friday Night Smackdown, get a Slingbox - it really works AND it's legal and will work forever, more or less. We are a long way from having mass-audience FREE access to broadcasts from one country available in another. It's just the way the broadcast industry is set up - to restrict, not to be free. The law's on their side. Your brother's room mate is dead meat.
