Hello all

I usually stay at the LK on Soi Diana (I think) but am maybe looking for another option.

I need somewhere with cooking facilities.

I'm considering a junior suite at Opey de Place but don't know if the kitchen has a cooker or not. Can anyone confirm if there is a cooker in the junior suite.

I've also looked at Mosaik apartments which look quite good.

Any help in my quest would be appreciated.

Be a little more specific..... many serviced apartment may claim cooking facilities, but what you generally get is just 2 electric pan-rings.

I think by 'cooker' you perhaps mean you need an oven as well, maybe even a grill. This is less common.

My prior place was Benjaphan Mansion next to the Nova Attrium and it had the 2 burners. The large 1 bedroom units (about 75 sq meters) cost 11,300 per month on a year lease and 12,300 for a month to month back then. Before that I stayed at Mansion 75 near Carrefour in a studio (about 36 sq meters) for 7500 a month. This place had a counter about 2 meters long with a sink but no burners. The TGF did an excellent job of preparing meals using an electric fry pan and other electrical appliances.

As does the Nova Park and many other serviced apartments... although I think the OP is looking for cheaper and Soi Bhua Khao area.

The Opey De Place the OP is interested in has rather mixed reviews out there. Some quite negative.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I stayed at the RG on my first ever trip and loved the place, however it's a wee bit too far out as are Nova suites.

Never mind I'll stick to LK, better the devil you know as they say.
