I am still looking for the perfect 1000 baht accommodation.

Some months ago I bought up the subject of the Chaba Hut and it was shot down in flames. I am now lead to believe that this place has had a makeover and would welcome any recent comments. I was lucky enough to get a very good update from a boardie here and if anyone is really interested I will send them the details if they PM me. I would however like some other up to date comments if anyone has stayed there recently.

The other place that I have been dealing with at the 1200 mark (B/F included) is the Royal Palace in Soi 2. If your interested email me.

Firstly how recently are you talking about in relation to a makeover? I stayed there in Nov past. Alos regarding 1000 bht acc I don't think its a problem getting a choice in Pattayaa and getting the right price as it seems to have sunk into the hoteliers and hostelrey owners that they have to compete for what little tourists there are now. I found the Chaba and old Da not a bad place to stay but there are mossies around the pool palms and at night if sitting out at the tables near 102 etc.[As for the breakfast there definately forget it and just cross the road for all your food to Jollies.

Nature Review looks good but have no in room safes which is important to me and to many others. Landing back to the room half pisses with a p4p girl that you have known for all of 2 hours can be a risky business. Its good to have somewhere to store away your cash and or cards.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Greatly appreciated but you did not advise on the in-room safe or do you have a security box at the reception?

Hi Teelak, yes I know that Chaba Hut have in room safes. I have stayed there and would recommend it. It was Nature View that I was referring to about not having safes.

What dates in June are you travelling?. We seem to bump into each other a good bit on trips. I am out for 2 weeks at the end of June.
