Clubs & Performing (DJ/Producer) questions

Recommended Posts

MOS in bkk has changed owners and name! (tried doing a european super club vibe with a thai flavour and it fell on its arse!)

Your best bet to get a 'break' is to try the white middle class backpacker / full moon party lot........ and you won't find them on this board!

Thai clubs / Disco's probably won't be that interested, but still worth a try.

Becareful though as 'work visas' are quite a hot topic and you could be an easy target for an under pressure police man to bust!!!!

Conections for your kit......

RCA (phono) conections are on all DJ mixers.

If you need some adapters you can get them all over the place in Thailand...

PM if you need more info on what equipment would be good to bring with you / buy in LOS

PS I am in the 'Music Biz'.........so i do know WHAT i am talking about

PPS Fuck off with the ML jokes (you know who you are!)

Try living in a Muslim country where even Karoake bars are outlawed. After that even the odd hour or two of Techno sounds great!! ;D ;D

If you like Thai Techno music (produced by a German DJ !)  this is kinda cute.

No girls and it's a hugh flash file (11M) but if you have DSL it only takes a couple minutes to download.  Called Apedance.

Crackpot,

Trust me on this... Listening to the wailing at prayer time 5 times a day along with the attendant "music" that accompanies it would make even the most hardcore hater of Techno long for the thumping beat of Western sounding music.

Crackpot wrote If it aint played with Guitars, drums and a Keyboard (preferably a C3 Hammond with Leslie Box), it aint music.

Cool a true hammond fan my weapon of choice would be a B-3 hammond   !!!

If that is the organ that Jon Lord of Deep Purple played, I would agree with you.
