Room, pool, position and quality

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I was recently in Pattaya and stayed at the Sabai Inn in a superior room for 999 baht. It has in MHO the three P's mentiond in the title. Having said that I am not stuck in concrete here and I am interested in anyone else's best 1000 baht +/- off season hotel.

I did have a look at the Pattaya Bay Resort and Chaba Hut but neither of these were any better than what I had.

I post this on the basis that everything seems to be a bit dynamic out there and perhaps there are some bargains to be had.

Monthly rate good at Maxx Condo, certainly better than average.

The price of that lot seems elusive!

Looks to be in a reasonable position and the prices, which also sound OK can be found by pressing Reservations and putting a date in. If I have one criticism of the place it is that you have a reasonable walk to get a baht bus heading into the Walking Street area assuming that you have to walk to Second Road and then down to Beach Road.

You could walk to Pattaya Klang and get a baht bus there. Only a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. In low season they are offiering 1,050 per night.

Have stayed Sabai Inn many times, but since Soi2 Inn built next door I would rather stay Summer Spring Soi 1,around 1000 a night when low season promo.Newer spacious rooms, with balcony and nice rooftop pool.

The BJ Holiday Lodge in Soi 3 gets my vote. Stayed there 3 times in the last 18 months (total of 14 weeks!!). Clean, pool, quiet, and currently 1000 baht per night:

Good apart from no internet in room, no lounge chairs in room and all in need of a refurbish, which I suspect is not forthcoming.

I had a look around last month and formed the same opinion.
