I used a place called dentist@beach (that's the name, not their email) in central festival:

Got a post and crown done in Feb 2010, about $380AUD all up. They specialise (as a number of others do) in catering to the 2 week type of tourist. I broke my crown the day before I was leaving on my prebooked holiday and they were excellent with immediate attention. Their receptionaist spoke excellent english and her first question was 'When do you leave?'

On 3rd Road opposite the driving range there is a soi and a terrific dentist there, not cheap but very good.

 

Cant remember the name of it ?

 

Heard good reports about the German dentist half way up the hill towards Slumtien.

The German guy on Thappraya Soi 9 is indeed the best around. He's no dentist though, just a dental technician and does all the lab work but he employs 5 Thai dentists.

The quality of the lab work is good European standard and he does lots of export work for Swiss and German dentists as well
