Hi all, left booking my room a little late and all is full. Shall be arriving this sunday.

 

I normally stay in a little guest house on soi 12 next to the apex.

 

Like the location, anyone got any short notice ideas in the 500B range. Not after too much as long as there is air con ect and freedom to come and go as pleased.

You could try the Honey Inn at the top of Walking St, it was refurbed about 3 years ago and it always has been 500 baht, it has AC and a pool, its an ok place for 500 baht

I have lost count of the rooms available 500 600 Baht signs I see all over the place here right now.

 

LK Metro had a few places and on most Sois where I saw guesthouses they all have vacancies so it seems, except the one you want to use.

For the money and convenience, it's tough to beat the Honey Inn. It's on Pattaya Thai, just at the turn from Beach road. I can't think of any place else in that price range than has air-con and a pool. you can walk up even in high season and get a room. Draw backs, no safe, they have lockers at reception and you have to supply your own lock, also the doors are not solid wood doors, and you have to remember to lock them when you leave.
