I was just wondering if anyone could give me the name and address of some internet cafe's in Pattaya?   I have heard / read some where before that there is one called  Pattaya Computer and Internet Cafe.    Does anyone know this place or have an address?

There's a very good internet cafe on the second level of the Big C mall.  It has decent speed service on the machines, is reasonably priced, air conditioned and they serve expresso.

Seriously now,

you don't really need names and addresses.  They are all over the place.  You will probably find that your hotel even has one.  You would have to be legally blind not to stumble upon one.

Just out of curiousity, do any of the internet cafes have smart media readers. I might not have my laptop with me the next trip out and I like to send photos back to torture my married friends.

Hi  SFKnight,

Some do many don't .... my personal knowledge is limited as I am a member (1 Baht 1 min, leased line) at the Internet Explorer on Beach Road which has all the readers and you can use for free.   I think the same is the case in the Royal Garden as it's the same company.  However I know the one in Big-C second floor does not, along with the one in Soi Diamond above super girls does not.

Limited help I know, sorry.

There is one across from the Queen Victoria Inn on Soi Yodsak.  1 baht a minute, computers are fairly quick.  This Thai kid helped me email some pictures to my friends at a reasonabel price.  There is another one on Jomtien beach, not sure of the address but it is close to the police station on one of the side streets.  Very fast connections.

As usual, I knew I could count on you guys. Now I have to get my butt off the 'dole', make a bucketful of 'questionable' money, strap on my rocket pack and jet my derriere over there.

Wish me luck

On the second level of the shopping center on Beach road (Royal Garden?) there is an Internet cafe.  It's a good placve to get out of the heat.  In addition to computers, they have iced tea, coffee, etc.

sf_knight,

I usually take mine wherever I go, and solves the problem typically.  I'll have a six-in-one with me if we happen to cross paths...  Just find me a USB terminal connected to a cd-rw burner.

They are usually pretty good about downloading the little utility program and burning to a cd-rw.  Just smile & talk to 'em nice.  I bring my own from home and leave with a finished product.

 Works for me.

Take care,

WISteve
