I have been given a Thai mobile number but I think that there may be too many numbers in it .

 

The no. as it was sent to me is  +(0)661702**** . If I'm ringing it within LOS I assume I use the zero prefix , it this right ?

The mobile no within Thailand is 01 702 ****.

 

From UK it is the international access code plus the country code (drop the first 0 of the Thai phone) no 0066 1 702 ****.

Thanks Tom , as usual you are a mine of useful info . I guess the girl that gave me that no. was expecting me to call her from here , not LOS  ;D .

 

You aren't by any chance in LOS May 6th-19th ? If so I'll have to buy you a beer for all the help & advice you've given me .

I'm in LOS 2-18 May but will be doing the culture trail in BKK and Sukhothai until 8th.  I will be staying in the Sabai Inn on Soi 2 but will make the odd foray into South Pattaya depending on the numbers of Cobra Gold folks in town.

 

I take it you will be cheering on the Bhoys in the final.

You should be able to use; http://www.telediscount.co.uk/accessnumbers.php  if you have a BT line. Check the cost of calling the numbers if you use another provider.

 

Using access number, 0911 9 120 120 to call Thai mobiles will cost 10p per minute.

Use 08444 620 620 for Thai landlines at 2p per min.

Tom - I've just realised that you were talking about the UEFA cup final . When does it take place ? I'm a true MUFC supporter but I suppose I'll cheer for the UK team .

 

Val - thanks , I've used the telediscount numbers previously . Lines can be noisy but the price is good .

I thought, being an Ulsterman, that you were taking the piss or had just blanked it.  I'm not a Celtic fan (watch out Europe, Hearts are in the EUFA cup next season!)but if it creates a market to sell another few footie jerseys back home I'll be cheering them on as well!  

 

I'll be cheering for Southampton in the FA Cup Final if only for the reason that Gordon Strachan will provide much more colourful post-match interviews than the Wenger character.
