European Cellphones in Thailand

I could get some used cellphone. Is it possible to use a german handy with a thai prepaid card?

I think this could be a needful  gift.

 

And how much will cost a prepaid card?

You cannot use cellphone purchased outside Thailand in Thailand unless you get them hacked illegally.

You can get a thai sim card in any of the telephone shops on central road in pattaya........1800 baht ......800 hundred of that is for calls.........to get your european phone to work there....is 700 baht for it to be un sim locked........hope this helps..........LONDON_BOY ::)
