Sunbeam Hotel

We plan to visit Pattaya next year and maybe stay at the Sunbeam.

What I cannot seem to find via the internet is a decent photo / description of the pool area, most hotels seem to have arial shots of the whole area but not the Sunbeam. (Sunbeam website checked)

Can anyone tell me what its really like, ie: Set in gardens, how much room is there around it, whats the bar like etc.

Never stayed there but there is a good view from the rooftop pool in Flipper House hotel of the Sunbeam pool.In fact we went there to swim one day.It is quite a largish pool with a bar also.Walking through the hotel it looked very nice inside but I hear you have to pay every time you take a girl back.

Mate its in the middle of beer bar country...........better places in the area....Flipper for one

I certainly wouldn't recommend Sunbeam.  Full of Koreans, if I remember it was 300bht to take a girl back, and the swimming pool is in the shade after about 2.00pm......go to Flipper House or Lodge

Just the info I was looking for but could not find.

The Flipper looks a nice place.
