RECENT 03 belaire reveiws..RECENT ONLY PLEASE

Recommended Posts

In September I had two nights there included with my ticket, when I inquired as to whether it was 'guest friendly' they said it would be a 800bt charge so I didn't bother and went to the Nana.

If you book in and pay the rack rate you can get away with it but with an airline discounted ticket you've had it and will be hit with a joiner fee and i had the same at Amari Boulevard too.

Hope this helps.

Failing that, just e-mail the hotel and put your questions to them.

Can't understand your logic Roland.

Why would you not bother staying in a hotel that you've already paid for just because they have a joiner-fee?

It would have cost you more than 800bht to stay at the Nana.

Personally,I reckon the Bel-Aire is much nicer than the Nana, although I admit, not as convenient!

Because I didn't pay for it, it's like a lot of flights you book thru Trailfinders where they give you two/three nights free in a hotel.

I wasn't going to pay 800bt plus have that hike up Soi 5 so I just went to the the Nana.

But you did pay for it!

800bht is cheaper than staying at the Nana.

What part don't you understand ? The two nights were thrown in with the ticket, so I never paid for the room.

How much does it cost to stay at the Nana Hotel for the night?

So,you could have stayed at the Bel-Aire, instead of the Nana, paid  the 800bht  joiner- fee and saved  yourself 270bht!

Then again,I never was very good a maths!  :-[

I could haver done but once I weighed up the 800bt joiner plus the fucking hike up Soi 5 i thought bollocks to it and stayed at the Nana.

If I had been a teetotaller and not requiring female company then yes I'd have stayed at the Bell End.

Yes I am a lazy fat fucker but it is rather more than 1 Soi, firstly crossing Sukhumvit then down to Soi 5 and then right to the top of Soi 5.

Of course not to say being accosted by ladyboys all the way down Sukhumvit, hang on a tick I think I'd better reconsider here  ;D ;D ;D

It's an easier walk past the chicks with dicks if you have a TG with protecting her tilac (read payday) !!!!

PS maybe sort the 'joiner fee' before you go out and pick up a dorris................saves the WALK OF SHAME!!! lol

'Pre-booking' the joiner fee is a very good idea. Doing all that 'paperwork' at the reception desk seems to take forever!

It's not really 'the walk of shame',just feels like it is.

Who knows, the receptionist may be on commission for joiner fees!!

ste,

What is the walk of shame and if your ashamed of what your doing, why do it?

In some hotels you will be 'escorted'  from the  entrance to the reception desk.I would imagine this is not a particularly pleasant experience and would call that a walk of shame.

Never done the walk myself although I got pulled up one night  by  a member of staff while walking back to my room.Apparently a TG was walking in the same direction a me and assumed we were together. I don't know, after all,I'm a married man!
