Hilton Hotel Restaurants

Recommended Posts

From the info I collected on the internet the Hilton has 4 restaurants of which Egde restaurant has good reviews : buffet 350 baht.

Regarding the foodquality-price balance and the atmosphare and beautiful seaview it's value for money people say.

The other restaurants there are expensive-very expensive.

Prices of a stars restaurant but not food that has the quality of a stars restaurant.

If youwant go up to Edge at the 15th floor reception MIGHT ask you to prepay 300 baht which will later be deducted from your bill at the restaurant.

They probably want to get rid of the tourists who come only for sightseeing at the Hilton.

I have planned to go to the Edge restaurant next time when i am in Pattaya to see if it's as nice as people say.

Pattaya is for shagging, not Poncy restaurants.

Grab a Big Mac then get over to Soi 6.

I know you're trying to be humorous, but you are seeing things thru a very narrow prism of your own demented sex tourist viewpoint.

There are good restaurants here, and some people, tourists and expats, are happy to use them and be informed about them.

They don't all spend their time searching for a cheap shag or noodle soup at rock bottom prices.

Hello Gents,

I often take advantage of the Hilton Edge buffets at least once a week. Great view, atmosphere and the prices are very fair especially for the quality of food.

Here are the buffet prices and schedules as of December 2012.

I would often like to see the drinks menu when a 'lunch special' is offered.

Sure, 380 nett for a buffet at a 5 star hotel sounds like a good deal..... but I was at a neighbouring hotel and had 2 beers with the food and that was about 380 nett too. Now I have spent 760 baht and am dithering over the fact I could 'go another'.....

They make their money on the drinks!

Yes of course they do....... but perhaps customers are sometimes a little surprised by how much.

I've heard the drink prices are a shocker. I plan to drink the free water.

Well fine if they have it available although you may be having a little tug at my leg here.

I am still angered by the way the Nana and Ambassador coffee shops put up the price of a bottle of beer to match the GGBs in the Plaza way back when! Oh for the days when I could grab a beer from the mini bar at a similar cost to Friendship. Now I have to be severely impaired to need one of them there $8 beers! :D

Best to order bottled water at the Edge Hilton buffet as it's 60 Baht. They do indeed kick your ass on the drinks but I don't go there for that obviously. Italian day is definitely worth it, that's my personal favorite. Great place to take your family or even a date you might wish to impress.
