Can anyone recommend a Hotel in or near Soi 3 under 900 baht a night. I usually stay at Nana Inn but thought I would try somewhere new this time.

Woraburi, further down Nana, 750Baht. Just ignore the rude receptionists.

 

For a real fleapit try the Golden Palace on Soi 1 Sukhumvit 580 Baht a night

This year i stayed in the Royal Asia Lodge on soi 8, The cost was 870baht + taxes, far better than Nana Hotel,even with a 3 to 4 min walk from main road, but they have a free  Tuk tuk service from the hotel to the main road and when returning have a telephone at the top off soi 8. Had a mass. [smiley=3some.gif] and was very impressed. Food is not to bad. If i classed Nana Hotel (which is only 2 sois away) as 5 out of ten i would class R.A.L. as 8.
