Not bad, might even compete with Etihad and Qatar.

Good for those who go straight to Heathrow.......

But transit there...... no thanks.... the Bangkok flight leaves from T3 doesn't it?

Haven't flown BA long haul in Y for many a year because their legroom and service on their 747's was abysmal at best. Anybody got any recent experience flying long haul on their 777-200, seat-guru is still showing legroom of only 31 inches. Might be tempted if it's not just too bad.

Well good news in a way, but the timing ex Bangkok not great when I want to get up to Manchester. An easy transfer at T5 though is great news.
