Hotels / Appts in Jomtien - any Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

For my next PTY trip I want to stay a week or two in Jomtien, just to see if the area clicks to me, as I start to consider to buy a condo in PTY, and most Offers I see are located in Jomtien .....

Can anybody suggest a Hotel or Serviced Appartment in the 1000 - 1500 bt in Jomtien? Personal Experience, Webpages, Names of Jomtien based Hotels for further research ...... all welcome!

Sunny,

I have stayed at the Welcome Jomtien (nice hotel but quite as ways down Jomtien Beach Road) 1000B from faxing the hotel direct (I have found that this brings the best price & response), Jomtien Grand Palace (1200B) did not have the room I requested (in the front facing the beach) gave me the room, but had to push 2 single beds together to make 1 double bed (not reccommended) and Jomtien Thani (1100B) again a fairly nice hotel and much closer to the turn to go back to Pattaya. When I stay next time in Jomtien I will stay at the Jomtien Boathouse as it has a great location and is own by the same people as the Residence Garden (it was almost finished last time I was there, much smaller than any of the hotels I have mentioned before and no pool. Hope this helps!!!

Jomtien beach paradise: very nice condos with fascinating seaview from the belgian owner with internet connections. A little bit away, may problems with bbus drivers

Seabrize. Excellent location, right on the beach, nice place with a good pool, guest friendly if your TGF have no breakfast. 800/day incl. a good breakfast.

Chateau dale condos. Beautiful rooms, classy pool, good location.

Thanks for the replys!

BigDude, I have been to the Water Park, the Hotel on this Area I did not fancy. To me it looks as it is full with Tourist Groups. Or am I wrong?

Jomtien Boathouse: I considered this one, as I have always enjoyed my stays at Residence Garden. How far away from the Police Station is this? Is it still on the Bahtbus Line?

As Bahtbuses are concerned: Are they going 24h from SOPA to Jomtien? Price 10 Bt (except for Fishingtime, of course)?

Gabor: I seem to remember a thread about less than a Year ago where you mentioned that you bought a Condo in Jomtien? Where? Where can I find this Thread?

DO you still own it?

Thanks Gabor.

After Half a Year owning a Condo at View Talay, are you happy with the investment?

Also: Is it possible to rent a Condo there (even Yours would be considered ....) for a two or three Week Period in December this Year?

After a half year owning a condo.. hard to answer to your question, as I myself never saw my own condo  :o

Before returning home saw some similar rooms in the building, but I found a better deal through the internet, so I made all the process on it. I have only the opinion of the guy, who owns Condo B. ( and an other and invested in the Viewtalay residence ) He told me about the great service and good feedback. He owns the condos already for more than years and he planning to buy more as an investment. I don't know his knowledges about the last strickenings, but he is not a gambler type.

I made a good deal with my condo for renting out immediately I bought it and had no pay the sum of the rent and all other costs. Now I try to rent out again for long time, as it is more useful, that hold it for my two months. If I will rent out mine I will live in condo B from middle of the december. If I can't obviously I will in mine and probably the condo B. will be available. Unless some other long term renter.

There are on my website some renters to Viewtalay, but they are pricey a bit.

If you want, we can inform you about the availability one of our condo around november. Then will clear what's going on.
