A word of warning, BK to Pattaya swamp!

I arrived in Bangkok yesterday morning and could not get on the fully booked Bell bus so took a cab. It took four hours to get to Pattaya.

 

As far as I can understand the washed out motorway (about 15 k North of Pattaya) was only on the incoming side however I do suggest that if time is essential that you do some homework whilst the rains fall.

 

Needless to say the poor driver was pissed and almost ran out of gas as well as almost peeing his pants.
