Hotel Selection Review

The Thai guy assigned to name the hotel didn't understand windows and didn't understand pull down windows. (Where are you Monkey Man) Not knowing better, he didn't choose a name but just left it at the default "Selection"

 

 

This hotel is located on beach road next to soi 6. Typical high season rate is about 2k. Not a bad price for the rate.

 

 

Unfortunately this is a Chinese tour group hotel. Ever try to transport a two decker bus and their luggage to their hotel rooms using the tiny Asian lifts?

 

The room next to me complained about my TV being too loud. Turns out that the hotel encapsulated the TV frames within the wall. Problem is that the TV speakers where located on the back of the TVs.

 

The hotel which was fairly new was worn out. Buffet breakfast was one of the worst ever.

 

I would not stay there again.

The (Hyatt) Pattaya Palace ... an important part of Pattaya's history - good to see it has been retained.
