Best Hotel

Have always stayed at Rg and loved it, but am interested in somewhere with a nice view of the water, must be guest friendly and well appointed.  I ask you, the experienced travellers, to help me deceide for next trip...RG or alternative....

A good place i have stayed a few times is the Hard Rock Hotel,right on Beach road.Great ocean view from the all the floors,awesome swimming pool and bar in the pool.Never had any problems with guest staying with me.It is a little pricey$$$.But i can be a nice place to hang out for a few days.

If $$$ isn't your priority then try either Cabbages and Condoms Resort or the Golden Cliff House Hotel.  Both are out by the Asia Hotel on the other side of Big Buddha Hill.  Bit out of the way, but ideal if that's what you're after.

Thanks for the replies guys, I think I would rather be in the thick of things, if I change from RG...But, I will check out the links later tonight.  Too bad Pattaya Central is such a S...hole, otherwise it would serve nicely...

Haven't stay there, but Iv'e heard other say good things about the Markland hotel.  It's up on Soi 1, but it's also on the baht bus route.
