Pattaya hotel name on soi 8????

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help me figure out the name of this hotel on soi 8?  I stayed there in Nov. 01 and at the time they gave me a 800/baht rate in their brand new wing or building.  It seemed to still be under construction when I checked in.  Anyway its on the oppisite side of sunbeam hotel about a 100 yds? or so towards the beach.  I think it might be sunshine hotel but all the pics I see on the net of it are all run down.  These rooms were fantastic for sanuk stanards.  Anyhow any help is appreciated.

bang51kok,

Your correct its the Sunshine.  Right next to the Sunshine is the Eastiny Place.  I'm stay at the Eastiny beginning 23rd July and am paying 650, but that is a rate for 4 weeks.

yes it's the sunshine hotel - I stayed there last year in a very pleasant room. there is a nice swimming pool, the staff were all very pleasant, and it is very guest friendly, but there is some noise from the road.

You can book it via www.hotelthailand.com - which in my experience by the way generally has the best prices for thai hotels

Andyagain I'm glad to hear that the Sunshine is good. I'm booked in there for over Christmas and New Year, only cost 650b a night.  Stayed at the Sunbeam in June which cost twice as much, was very nice though and very visitor friendly.

I stayed at the Sunshine recently in the residences wing (new part).  Paid 770 baht for a great room, very clean and the showers would have the best water pressure I've experienced in LOS. Staff are friendly and very guest friendly (check your TG's ID or not......it's up to you!!!).  Have also stayed in the old wing 450 baht but would only stay there if I couldn't get a room in the new wing.

Anyway contact them direct at sunshineptty@yahoo.com.

They can be a bit slack on replies so send them a reminder every couple of days.
