Any one tried these?

 

They are coming up with some very good prices for the first few months of the year, around 380 squid.

 

I have heard some horror stories about one of the arab airlines, cant remeber if it was this one or not, about stopovers that turned into 3 days etc.

 

Any one had any experience?

RJ is O.K but I believe the return leg is an overnighter in Amman. A night there, is I less than Pattaya.

on reflection i think i would rather pay the xtra 100 for eva.  ???

Arent Gulf Air a similar Price to RJ.?

I travelled RJ several years ago when there was a compulsory stop over and the flight couldnt be faulted.

 

I like Gulf air. I stay awake from UK to Gulf then drop a sleeping pill and sleep from Gulf to BKK and arrive quite refreshed.

Same on the way back and good arrival times.

Hi All,

 

Just to let you know I would not touch Royal Jordanian with a bargepole, I have returned from a trip to LOS, and was stuck 24 hours in Amman, could have been a lot longer.

 

To cut a long story shortish, I couldn't reconfirm return flight because offices were closed for New Year holiday, when arrived in Amman was told the flight was over booked by about 35. was then transfered to the Queen Allia Gateway Hotel (prison camp) were I spent a very boring and unpleasant 24 hours.

 

Next morning we managed to get on a flight but only because, a connecting flight from Calcutta was delayed by about 3 hours.

 

We were offered no compensation, and I made a two minute phone call home which cost over £5.00, also apparently the bar in the hotel wanted nearly £5 for a bottle of Amstel.

 

Also there was a chap there trying to get to New York, he had been stuck in Amman 4 days with his wife and two kids.

 

I have been on a number of cheap airlines, but this is by far the worst so far, and I would certainly not use them again. Will be going out to LOS again in April for a month , only £429 direct with EVA economy.

 

Hope this reply is not to late to help people with there bookings.
