What's Up with UNITED

Recommended Posts

I usually travel United either through their website or through Travelocity, but now the direct NY to BKK via NRT has been replaced with a stopover for 4+hours in San Fran...WTF @##$&!  Who want s to add another 6+ total hours to an already 24 hour trip !!!   A HOLES !!!

I guess because of their financial troubles they are cutting back on some routes. I flying through Chicago to Tokyo to Bangkok. Also when I talked to my agent it seemed like most of the flights were booked.

[smiley=bullshit.gif] you did not happen to notice the increase in price did you? if it say's the flight is booked go to 1 way flight for each leg and you will see 70% ot the time it is not.  i may burn up my  FFM'S 250,000 worth and try different airlines.  29 days [smiley=tits.gif] [smiley=cheers.gif]

It seems the West Coast flights are somewhat being meshed with there codeshare partner, USAirways, I know there operations are being moved together in 2004 on the West Coast..They seem to be stopping on the coast and getting transfer passengers from this codeshare..

That's good for me and BigDUSA as we are in the heart of USAirways territory, but not so good for others...

There Asian prices have not been discounted too much this year, I'm surprised at that...

Greg

No discounts cause they are near full.   basic capitalism at work.

For myself I am waiting for a nonstop to BKK from the USA.  Please oh please.

I hate Thai Air but if they do nonstop it would be compelling to save 3 hours or more on the trip.
