eva booking codes

Do any of you eva members have any idea what the following two booking codes are which I recieved in the evergreen club news letter.

Mileage program revisions

      Effective from Nov. 1, 2003 (travel date), passengers who are issued tickets with

      R and H booking class codes will not be eligible to earn miles and cannot secure a

      free upgrade in advance.

I just looked at my EVA tickets for the first of February and they say U class.  I booked my tickets with EVA, not a travel agent, maybe that is why they won't allow upgrade or miles with R or H. ???  

 I booked economy and upgraded to Evergreen Deluxe on the long haul flight.  All 4 tickets say U class.  I always fly EVA, about 3 times a year.  I am now an Executive Member, whatever the hell that means.

R and H fare codes are the deeply, deeply discounted coach tickets.

 

Most other codes are:

 

F and P - First Class

 

C and J - Business Class

 

L - EVA Air's Evergreen Deluxe

 

Y - Full Coach

 

Others (L, U, T, H, V) - Coach

 

There are other codes for award travel, but they vary wildly among airlines.

Just checked my tickets they state V class phoned the travel agent and they confirm that this is Evergreen deluxe.

So echster your class codes dont seem correct.

Is there a web site which gives all the booking codes for all the airlines.

I got my EVA Evergreen Deluxe Ticket yesterday, it states "L" class.

Yes, different for each airline too.

 

Evergreen Deluxe gets allocated to quite a few codes, have had V, Y, L and slightly worryingly R code tickets over the last 3 years or so. The R was back in 2001 tho', and was a last minute thing with Asean Adventures, (not a way that I would normally book).

I am booking on Eva this year, Evergreen Deluxe.. I checked Eva's Web Site for seating codes.

 

F = Super 1st Class

C = Super Business Class

ED = Evergreen Deluxe Class

Y = Economy Class
