Scenery city hotel guest fee?

Recommended Posts

Hi Coffeejunkie,

I have stayed there three times and there is no joiner fee. I am just looking to book again at the end of March for three weeks but they are fully booked. The hotel is very clean, good maid service and really good location.

If you need anymore info just ask.

Cheers

Rich

Checking out Avani Hotel for March trip, hard to get a straight answer on anything, i asked about joiner fee above the room rate, i received this; i asked them to clarify the companion fee when i am booking in as 2 people, have not received an answer yet.

According to your question, the information for visitor there is companion fee for the visitor(s) who has no registration at our hotel at 1,000 baht net per person.

For your safety and security, the visitor(s) need to deposit their ID card(s) to drop at our security desk.

Additionally, hotel benefits are not covered for your visitor(s) such as breakfast, fitness facilities, swimming pool and others.

If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,

The Avani charges a joiner fee for any unregistered guest who stays overnight. It doesn't matter if you have booked the room for two people. The only thing that counts is whether she is registered as a guest.

It's been mentioned before, but booking and paying for double occupancy doesn't give you the "right" to have an unregistered guest stay in the room. That's the crucial point.

I realise this, but can you register a New Guest everyday, or only when you check in, will they except a new girl everyday as registered guest.

i asked the hotel a few questions, but no reply.

Err on the likelihood that they won't let you register a guest daily at 3am, when you bring her back, but they would rather collect 1000 baht off you.

Generally speaking, hotels will not allow you to register a new guest every day. The Avani doesn't. The hotels which are guest- and monger-friendly just skip registration for mongers' overnight companions; the family-oriented hotels like Avani put restrictions in place to discourage mongers from staying there. They are saying in effect, "We don't want your business if you are going to bring back different girls every night."

Thanks, i will give up on Avani , been looking online at Hard Rock Hotel, will check to see if they have the same policy, my first time

to pattaya was last March/April so still trying to figure the place out, 5 star Hotels in philippines are ok with any guest you bring to your room, i realise philippines is not a family destination compared to pattaya.
