Pattaya Police Checkpoints

I saw an app on Facebook, Pattaya Police Checkpoints, showing where the cops were, "live", doing they're checkpoints, but couldn't find one anywhere else. Has anyone seen or used Facebook's or any other similar app ? I'm not a Facebook member, and don't want to join.

The anonymous admin of the Thai-language page – which had received more than 100,000 “likes” – initially declared he would not remove the page, as he was not doing anything improper. But faced with fines of up to 100,000 baht and jail time, the page has disappeared from Facebook.

Well, that's a DAMN shame ! Remind's me of the ol' days hanging out on Beach Rd. the sidewalk vendor's would call each other from say, Soi 7, down to Walking St., letting everyone know the cop's were walking down the street, bustin them, so everyone would cover up all they're illegal shit with blanket's and close down for an hour or so, till they went by !! HA! HA! HA!

I quite often come around the bend on the railway line bypass , heading north just after the railway station to be met with a truck reversing back at me trying to avoid the police roadblock under the motorway flyover.They like it there, shaded!
