Singapore shopping advice needed!

Can someone recommend me a good electronics shop in Singapore? I'll be there for only one day and a half and I want to buy a digital camera, a mobile phone, a video projector etc. As you can see, my needs vary so if somebody can advice me on any "electronics mall" or something similar with a lot of shops gathered in a small area, I would appreciated a lot

Be careful... A friend of mine went to Singapore for electronics purchases and came back very unhappy. I haven't got the full story yet.

I have heard stories of overpriced electronics or fake ones; that's why I'm seeking for any word of wisdom concerning that fact. Any future advise will be more than welcomed!

Go along Orchard Road theres a load of Centers etc  there though he will get lost of hassle from touts

 

I nearly decked one Indian bloke who followed me around one shopping center and eventually asked a security guard to stop him.

 

Als beware of your countries Duty free allowance.

If you get off the MRT underground at the City Hall stop you can venture into Raffles City.

Theres the Funan Centre with six floors of electronic goods and computers or further up at Sim Lim Square theres another center with four floors of the same.

You can haggle over the price,I believe,no problem.
