Is it ok to bring Viagra into Thailand instead of purchasing there? Would i be likely to encounter any problem with customs.

Any advice appreciated.

You'll be OK but make sure it's in a labelled container.

 

Why bother anyway?  Its cheap and plentiful in Pattaya.

I purchased some in advance after hearing about rip offs etc when purchasing in Thailand, don't know whether this is the case or not. What price is charged in Pattaya ?

;D the price of viagra in pattaya is 500 bhat each or 2000 baht for the box. if you are atraid of being ripped off. get box it is sealed . pfizer  made. best place i found was on beach road across from pier. do not remeber name of pharmacy but has beer cooler out front for cheapest carlberg too. hope this helps. enjoy trip

aj-how many in the box?I haven't bought any outside a pharmacy yet.I pay $12.00 for an entire prescription here at home as it's covered by my insurance.

I'm in the same boat as you in that I pay just $12 for a bottle of 10. Note: have your Doc make it out for the 100mg. You can always split them if you want 50's.

 

Taking medication on a trip is not illegal as long as their in a bottle and labeled in your name.

 

In Pattaya it cost 500 baht ($12 US) per pill.

 

I've got an appointment to see my Doc next week to get a fresh supply for my next trip in December.

Sounds like getting them with a prescription is the cheapest way then and bringing them in.

 

Incidentally what makes me really laugh is that many pharmacies in LOS sell cigarettes and beer.
