Hot plate...

Sure would appreciate it if some one could tell me the name of some hotel that a person could use a hotplate in..or somewhere a person could do a little cooking....I am a diabetic...so when I am able to cook my own food helps me a lot....The last time I was there I looked for apartment ...but they want a deposit ....and that can be a problem....also I generally pay about 500 BHT a night when I am there.......

Check out www.skytoppattaya.com Cheap but good hotel for 450 and up. Good location on 2nd Rd near soi 6. One of the rooms has a kitchen. No range but tosteroven. Discount available during low season or long stay.

You could go to someplace like the Big C and buy a hot plate. But you better hide it when you leave your room. I suspect the management might object if they knew you had it.

And when you leave you could just make a present of it to your current tirac. I used a "hot pot" a few times just so I could make coffee, tea, or soup in the room. Worked out great.

Depending on how long you are going to stay, but the RG is excellent and has the proper facilites for cooking...But the price is 1350 Baht/night...
