I might just pop over for a week if the back can take it

ERRRRRRRRR TOM:

JUST SEEN THIS RIDER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THAI PAGE

IMPORTANT NOTE: Eligibility restrictions apply to the Thai Special Offer (£179). Only available to Travel Agents, Tour Ops, Airlines Staff, Air Traffic Control associations. which rules out most of your list above

Also take a look at the eligabililty section of Phuket air its VERY limited.

Yes big restrictions .I've just made a reservation . They are getting back to me within 14 days to confirm . Fortunately I work for an Iata freight agent so I qualify. The flight schedules completely blast my holidays away as I'm gonna have to take 6 days holidays for 12 days out there . Still if they can get me out there for this party in August at a price of 169 gbp + tax it's worth the sacrifce. They told me they have 20 seats on this flight.

So we shall see.

Did you notice the supplement on the hotels if you're going alone. Bet they're not girl friendly.

Crackpot,

The list on my post are all those that may have eligibility for some/most all of the deals - sorry if it was misleading. B) Thai's normal elegibility (pulled from the "Am I Eligible?" page is normally quite extensive but seems to be restricted for this particular offer.

I had previously used them about seven years ago when the eligibility was more limited but their staff always seemed very helpful.

I've been getting the touchdown newsletter for years now.The best deal I've qualified for on tg was circa 450 gbp . Cheaper at east/west or ours travel.

Something to watch on their offers is sometimes they cannot confirm your seat untill 14 days before departure . If your told theres no seats at that time it's pretty difficult to find an alternative thats reasonably priced. It happened to a mate of mine and he ended up paying 3 times more to get the same dates on a different airline.
